Dr Victoria Hill is a Research Scientist with Numeritics, a boutique research and consulting firm she co-founded in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to her responsibilities at Numeritics that focus on data analytics and program evaluation, Victoria also works as an expert evaluator with the National Science Foundation’s Industry University Collaborative Research Centers (IUCRCs) – a program dedicated solely to translational research in the pre-competitive space. Victoria received her PhD from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Engineering and Public Policy (EPP). Her areas of expertise include Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Industry/Academic Collaborations and Partnerships, Program Evaluation for Policy Making, and Statistical and Data Analysis. As a Fulbright Scholar at Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), she will be collaborating and working closely with SFI personnel and their efforts on future scoping with the goal of identifying and validating areas of research integral to their challenge-based and mission-oriented funding activities.
