Marcy Rosenbaum, PhD is Sahai Family Professor of Medical Education, Professor of Family Medicine and Faculty Development Consultant for the Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education at the University of Iowa. She has been actively involved in teaching, curriculum development and conducting research on clinician-patient communication for the more than 20 years. She also has spent her career conducting research and directing programs focused on enhancing health professional faculty skills in teaching in classroom and clinical settings and in conducting educational research, She is president-elect of EACH: International Association for Communication in Healthcare after previously serving as Chair of the EACH teaching committee, tEACH. As a Fulbright Scholar, she will conduct evaluation research on communication skills education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland as well as advising on curriculum and faculty development programming.
