Bizzy Coy is a writer whose short humorous fiction has been published widely in outlets including The New Yorker, McSweeneys, Vulture and The Belladonna. She has received grants and fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Puffin Foundation, Platte Clove Artist Residency and Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. She is the founder of #Scribblewits, an ongoing project to spotlight the long-lost witty women of history around the world. During her Fulbright, Bizzy will receive an MA in Creative Writing at Dublin City University with a focus on written humor. She will also explore the satire of Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde and the connections between contemporary Irish and American comedic sensibilities.
