Dr Purity Mwendwa is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Nursing Midwifery and Health Systems, University College Dublin. As a Fulbright-HRB Health Impact Scholar, Purity will be hosted in the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health at the University of California San Diego. She will undertake research in collaboration with Dr Tala Al-Rousan to study influential factors and mechanisms involved in delivering dementia care and supports to culturally and linguistically diverse communities in San Diego.
