Cole graduated from Harvard University in 2023 with a degree in Neuroscience and a secondary in environmental science and public policy. He was awarded a Fulbright grant to pursue a Master of Science in Public Health at the University of Limerick. Cole has worked to document community stories and promote environmental justice in his home state of Colorado for predominantly Latinx communities and currently leads a large clinical study to provide additional perinatal services and comprehensive mental health care to more than 500 low-income Black and African American mothers in Washington, DC. Through this work, he has developed a passion for public health and serving historically marginalized communities. While studying at UL, he hopes to learn from and collaborate with Traveller healthcare providers to conduct community based research on potential interventions at the intersection of mental health and the environment for the Irish Traveller community.
