Brandy Boden is a recent graduate of Syracuse University with a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts working primarily in photographic and print based media. Her experience includes teaching in the fields of outdoor education, arts education, and community-based arts, which has encompassed both national and international projects and exhibitions. She previously earned her M.S. at the State University of New York, Cortland in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies where she continues to work as an Adjunct Lecturer. As a Fulbright Student Award grantee with Dublin City Gallery, The Hugh Lane, she will conduct an expressive arts education curatorial project under the guidance of the Gallery’s educational team to continue to strengthen the relationship between the Gallery and communities within Dublin. Brandy’s research interests include themes relating to community and a sense of place and she is interested in observing how the Irish landscape is reflected or considered in contemporary printmaking.
