DESCRIPTION
The Fulbright Irish Awards support Irish citizens, and E.U./U.K. citizens resident in the RoI for 5+ years, to undertake research or study in the United States.
All Discipline awards are exactly that, i.e. open to applicants from and to all areas of study and research. This includes all areas also covered by sponsored awards.
Applicants can complete a full PhD or Masters in the U.S. or portion of an Irish postgraduate degree.
Fulbright Funding is only available for the first year of research or study. Awards are calculated through the U.S. Dept. of State approved monthly rates and travel costs. Other costs and fees are not provided for in the award unless specifically stated. Applicants should inform themselves of the full cost of attending any U.S. institution.
HOW TO APPLY
- Seek a letter of affiliation for hosted research or also apply separately to US institution for Masters / PhD program.
