Timothy X. Troy, Professor of Theatre and Drama at Lawrence University in Wisconsin. Regular teaching areas include acting, directing, script analysis, and playwrighting.A Troy is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Troya€™s playwrighting activities focus on how large social forces influence family relationships and our shared vision of the future. Professor Troya€™s love for, and commitment to, travel began as 16-year-old Rotary Exchange Student and continues as a sponsor of a study-abroad program at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. In addition to theatre, Professor Troy teaches courses in Lawrence’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship program (Start-up Theatre), and in Environmental Studies (Irelanda€™s Deep Time). As a Fulbright Scholar in Ireland (a€™22-a€™23), Troy will teach playwrighting and audio theatre at UCD, and create a new stage play that explores the life of Daniel Stapleton, a munitions expert from Kilkenny, contributions to the Irish War of Independence.
