APPLY NOW: Bring a U.S. Specialist to your Institution
The Fulbright Commission in Ireland is seeking applications to bring U.S. Fulbright Specialists to their institution for two to six weeks from January to December 2022.
The deadline for applications from Irish institutions is Friday 17th September 2021. Â
The Fulbright Specialist Program allows overseas universities, cultural centres, non-governmental organizations and other institutions in host countries to develop collaborative projects which host a leading U.S. academic or professional at their institution to work on diverse, short-term collaborative projects focused on education and training. These projects support critical priorities identified by the Irish host institutions.
This is a creative, low-administrative and cost-effective way of accessing U.S. academics and professionals who might not be free to come for longer periods.
COST
Through the US State Department, the Fulbright Commission pays the Specialist a per diem and international travel to and from Ireland. The Irish institution is required to fund/provide accommodation, meals, and any internal Irish travel costs.
