International Education Week
IEW 2015 November 16-20
International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that helps prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future international leaders to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
As part of IEW, students in Ireland can register to take part in a free University online Fair on International Students Day Wednesday 18 November. This is CollegeWeekLive’s BIGGEST international event of the year and offers international Students a chance to ask questions directly to 150+ top U.S. universities. Register for this event here.
EducationUSA in Ireland will facilitate a workshop for Guidance Counsellors on Friday 20 November, 3pm-4pm at the Fulbright Commission Offices in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Dave Buckwald, Director of International Admissions at Columbia University and Aaron Zdawczyk, Director of International Recruitment at Northwestern University will provide information on their schools and on applying to highly selective universities in the U.S.
