• Scholar Awards in all disciplines
• Maximum $15K for general awards (up to €20K for EPA Award) plus insurance, J-1 visa and programming
• 3 – 12 months of post-graduate research and or lecturing in the US.
• The next round will open in September 2012 for the 2013/14 competition.

Who can apply

• Academics and professionals with
  • PhD or more than 5 years professional experience
  • excellent academic and or professional track records
  • leadership qualities
  • an understanding of Fulbright
  • a clear course of study
  • an affiliation with a US institution
  • Irish / EU citizenship.

How to apply

• complete and submit online application and supporting documentation
• submit hardcopies of application and supporting documentation by the deadline. The 2012-13 competition is now closed to applicants.
  
• be available for interview mid January - mid February 2012 if short-listed.
